I think 2009 was the year of some pretty epic movies. Seems like long 3 hour movies are more popular now, which is a good thing I think. Without further ado here are my top movie picks of 2009.
Warp 1 Mr Sulu. Can I get a warp 2?
1. Star Trek
The amazing reboot of the series was this years top movie. The first fifteen minutes are brilliant and the movie keeps strong after that. It take a few missteps along the way but it is great. I won’t ruin these descriptions with any real plot elements, ill leave that up to you to discover on your own.

Jews, Nazis and a happy ending.
4. Inglorious Basterds
District 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8 really phoned it in. 9 is better.
